About Us
Hi, I am pleased that you have discovered our web site, so do stay awhile and

Buttercross Photography
and the photographic services we offer.
We are award winning wedding, portrait, commercial and PR photographers, based
in the Nottinghamshire market town of Bingham. Buttercross Photography accepts
commissions throughout the English East Midlands, including Derbyshire,
Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire.
Buttercross Photography
is so called because of the Butter Cross (shown in our logo above) in the market
square of Bingham, the small East Midland market town where we are based.
Bingham itself is in the heart of the Vale of Belvoir (pronounced - BEAVER - in
French it means Beautiful View), a beautiful arable area of England on the
boarders of Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire.
Robin Hood is alleged to have roamed hereabouts, and some of the significant
battles in the English Civil War took place in the Vale. The Vale is famous for
Belvoir Castle, the stately home of the Duke and Duchess of Rutland. Stilton
cheese is produced in the vale, as are Melton Mowbray's delicious Pork Pies.
The prime aim of
Buttercross Photography
is to provide good professional photography at reasonable cost. Your

Malcolm is a Qualified European Photographer (QEP) and an Associate of the Royal
Photographic Society (ARPS), The British Institute of Professional Photography
(ABIPP), and the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers (ASWPP).
or
Anne Sales.
Anne is also a qualified professional photographer being a Licentiate member of
both the prestigious Master Photographers Association (LMPA) and The British
Institute of Professional Photography (LBIPP). Anne is also a qualified couture
dressmaker and frequently finds herself adjusting bride and bridesmaids dresses
just prior to a wedding. |
